Egypt condemns attack targeting hospital in Pakistani city of Quetta

CAIRO, Aug 8 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt’s foreign ministry condemned on Monday a “terrorist” attack   on a hospital in the Pakistani city of Quetta that claimed the lives of at least 70 people and injured dozens.

A group affiliated with Talbian movement known as Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack on the hospital.

According to Reuters, the group pledged to continue carrying out such attacks. But the groups has claimed responsibility for attacks in the past that it was not involved in.

The causalities included journalists and lawyers who were accompanying the body of prominent lawyer and Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) president Bilal Anwar Kasi who was killed in a shooting earlier.
