CAIRO, Dec 23 (Aswat Masriya) Pro-revolution groups, including the April 6 movement, have called for a demonstration on Monday to denounce the sentencing of activists Ahmed Maher, Mohamed Adel and Ahmed Douma to three years in prison.

A Cairo court also fined the activists 50,000 Egyptian pounds for staging a protest, that escalated to clashes, without permit earlier this month.

April 6 said in a press conference on Sunday that the protesters will meet at 5 in the afternoon at the Opera Square to march to the Shura Council.

The group added that it has withdrawn its support for the roadmap announced by the army following the ouster of President Mohamed Mursi.
