CAIRO, Jan 24 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's presidency condemned the blasts that rocked Cairo on Friday morning and pledged retribution for the victims of those bombings.

The presidency said that it will combat terrorism relentlessly.

Four people were killed and 51 were injured when a suicide car bomber blew himself up at the Cairo Security Directorate earlier this morning.

One conscript was killed and six others were injured in another explosion in Dokki.

A third explosion occurred when a homemade bomb detonated on Giza's Ahram Street, causing no casualties.

Tampering with Egypt is a red line that will not be crossed or even approached, the presidency said in a statement.

"Such terrorist acts that aim to break the will of the Egyptians will only make them unite."

Whoever planned, funded, incited, participated in or carried out these crimes will be severely punished, the statement said.

The presidency extended its condolences to the families of the bombings' victims.
