CAIRO, May 2 (Aswat Masriya) - Two captains and a conscript were injured when shooting broke out between supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and police forces in Ezbet el-Walda area in Cairo's Helwan, an Interior Ministry statement said.

Security forces intervened to disperse a demonstration for the Brotherhood supporters in Helwan on Friday.

Some pro-Brotherhood Facebook pages reported that several protesters were shot during the dispersal, but the reports could not be confirmed.

Earlier today, two people were shot dead in clashes between pro-Brotherhood demonstrators and local residents in Alexandria.
