CAIRO, Sept 9 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt closed four seaports in Suez due to bad weather on Wednesday, the Red Sea Ports Authority spokesman told state-owned news agency MENA.
Sandstorms have reduced visibility to less than 15,000 meters. The closed ports are usually used for transferring containers, goods, petroleum products and passengers.
The ports will be reopened as soon as the sandstorm ends.
