The June 30 Front and its operation rooms called for two marches to head to Egypt's Shura Council, the cabinet and the Qubba presidential palace late on Sunday.

The front also called for staging a general strike as of Monday and for holding a million-man demonstration on Tuesday.

A march headed from Omar Makram Mosque in Tahrir Square to the Shura Council late on Sunday.

The image of millions rallying in the streets and squares of Egyptian governorates leaves no room for doubt that President Mohamed Mursi’s legitimacy has completely fallen, a statement by the front said.

The front urged Egyptians to commit to demonstrating peacefully and to stay put in Tahrir Square, at the presidential palace, the cabinet and the Shura Council, and in front of city councils in various governorates until Mursi steps down.

The front was formed by the “Tamarod” (Rebel) campaign whose aim is to gather support for a no-confidence vote against Mursi.

The campaign,  who successfully managed to stage mass demonstrations in Cairo on Sunday, June 30, said it has gathered more than 22 million signatures so far.
