Policeman shot dead in Northern Sinai

A police officer was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Saturday in the Northern Sinai's city of Arish, security sources said.
Ahmed Zein al-Din Mostafa was shot in his chest as assailants attacked a security checkpoint in Arish early on Saturday.
Attacks by Islamist militants targeting security bases have significantly increased since the army’s ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi on July 3.
