The National Alliance for Supporting Legitimacy announced it will organise several marches from Rabaa al-Adaweya Mosque in Cairo's Nasr City to the Republican Guard headquarters on Wednesday following the Ramadan Taraweeh prayers.

The alliance, established by the Muslim Brotherhood and the hardline Islamist group al-Gamaa al-Islamiya, supports former president Mohamed Mursi and demands his return to power.

Groups of demonstrators will organize a march from Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandessin, another from Istiqama Mosque in Giza and a third from Assad Ibn al-Forat Mosque in Dokki.

On Monday, marches staged by Islamists left seven dead and dozens injured after the demonstrators clashed with the police and residents of various areas.
