Funeral of child turned into anti-Brotherhood march

CAIRO, Nov 23 (Aswat Masriya ) Tens of Egyptians gathered on Saturday to mourn the death of Samir Ahmed Mohamed, 10, who was killed on Friday near clashes between opponents and supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi in Suez. 

The mourners chanted against the Muslim Brotherhood which the child’s father told Aswat Masriya killed his son. 

The child was shot dead on Friday during clashes that erupted when a pro-Brotherhood march denounced the army, the police and army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

A 12-year-old boy was also recently killed in clashes between rivals in Omraneya.
