Egyptian interim President Adli Mansour traveled on Wednesday to Kuwait for a one-day visit in his second tour to the Arab gulf countries.

Mansour is also scheduled to make a stop in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he will meet high-ranking Emirati officials and discuss mutual relations.

Kuwait provided Egypt with a fiscal aid of a two billion US dollars deposit and grant and an oil grant worth one billion US dollars following the ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi after mass protests against his rule in July 3.

The interim president met on Sunday in Egypt with Mubarak Khuraine, deputy chairman of Kuwaiti National Assembly, and discussed means to boost Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations.

The Egyptian president is scheduled to make a stop in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he will meet high-ranking Emirati officials and discuss mutual relations.

UAE has provided Egypt with a financial aid package amounting to five million US dollars.

Interim Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawi, accompanied by a high-level delegation has recently visited the UAE.
