The National Salvation Front condemned the attempt to torch "Rebel" Campaign's headquarters in downtown Cairo on Friday morning.

"Whoever tries to burn the people's signatures on the campaign's forms will not hesitate to burn the people themselves if he had the chance."

In a statement it issued today, the front said that people's support for the campaign raises the Muslim Brotherhood's fears in a way that prompts the group to act foolishly.

The front pledged its full support for the campaign.

"Such attacks will not intimidate the people," the statement said.
