Released Egyptian soldiers arrive in Cairo

Seven Egyptian security members, who were kidnapped by Islamist militants on Thursday, were released on Wednesday.

President Mohamed Mursi, Prime Minister Hisham Kandil and Defence Minister Abdel Fattah Sisi have received the released officers at Almaza Cairo Airport.

The authorities will hold a press conference shortly to announce the details of the release.
