Two policemen killed on Suez road

SUEZ, April 20 (Aswat Masriya) A police officer and a conscript were killed on Sunday in an armed attack on a security checkpoint in Cairo-Suez road, security sources told the state news agency.

Unknown assailants fired gunshots at them, according to the security sources.

No party has claimed its responsibility for the attack yet.

Armed attacks against security personnel have risen sharply since the ouster of President Mohamed Mursi last year.
