The presidential election commission has finished considering all appeals filed by runoff candidates except for those on four poll stations at Assiut, a commission member said.

Results of the country’s presidential election are expected on Saturday, Judge Amr Salama, member of the Supreme Presidential Elections Commission’s Secretariat, stated.

The commission is currently checking the reports of ballot counting in the four remaining poll stations in the presence of candidates’ representatives, Salama told Aswat Masriya.

The commission is expected to wrap up its work within hours.
