Ninety people were wounded during clashes that erupted between supporters of deposed Islamist President Mohamed Mursi and residents of the area of Arbaeen Square in Suez on Sunday night.

Two of the wounded were shot with live ammunition and the rest suffered wounds from rubber bullets, a health official said.

The supporters of the deposed president clashed with vendors and citizens in Arabeen Square after they chanted against the army and threw petrol bombs at them, according to eyewitnesses.
