CAIRO, Feb 8 (Aswat Masriya) Three people were killed and 10 were injured in confrontations between supporters and opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood and security forces in Egypt on Friday, the health ministry said.

The ministry added in a statement on Saturday that the wounded, from Cairo, Giza and al-Fayoum, were sent to local hospitals to receive medical attention, adding that four have been dismissed.

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, formed to back ousted President Mohamed Mursi, had called for demonstrations starting Friday to mark the downfall of Hosni Mubarak in 2011.
