CAIRO, Sept 12 (Aswat Masriya) - Unidentified assailants killed Friday morning a police sergeant and a driver at the office of the governorate in south Egypt's Minya, a security source told Aswat Masriya.
Masked men on a motorbike opened fire on the police sergeant in Minya's Nile Corniche street, killing him and a driver who happened to be at the area where the shooting took place, the source said.
The vicinity was immediately sealed off with the deployment of fixed and mobile ambushes to catch and identify of the perpetrators, the source added.
