CAIRO, June 12 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt's cabinet will hold its first meeting on Monday after it is completely formed, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab told a local newspaper on Thursday.
The new cabinet will discuss the implementation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's programme and means to fund it throughout its different stages.
Mahlab's interim government submitted its resignation last Monday, a day after Sisi's inauguration as president, but Sisi has asked Mahlab to form a new cabinet.
"The cabinet's priority will be to ensure the progress of the final stage of Egypt's roadmap, which is the parliamentary elections," Mahlab said.
