Cairo, Sept 1 (Aswat Masriya) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in China on Tuesday for a three-day visit to discuss business cooperation.

Sisi is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang, in addition to a number of world leaders who will be in China to celebrate the anniversary of the end of World War II.

He is expected to secure a $100 million loan from the Chinese development bank, to fund small and medium enterprises in Egypt.

The Egyptian president paid an official visit to China last December to strengthen bilateral ties and increase Chinese investments in Egypt. During that trip, he and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement.

Sisi started his Asia tour by visiting Singapore and he will make his final stop in Indonesia on Friday.
