CAIRO, Dec 9 (Aswat Masriya) An Egyptian court adjourned the trial of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badie to February 11 on Monday.

Also standing trial in the same case are Mohamed al-Beltagy, Essam al-Erian and Bassem Auda.

The three senior Brotherhood members are accused of organizing an assembly with the purpose of attacking persons and public and private property and forming a gang that attacked Giza residents and security forces with weapons.

An eyewitness said the accused chanted “invalid” from inside the courtroom during their hearing.

It was the first time Badie had appeared since his arrest on August 20 following the army’s ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.
