An Egyptian court will review on Tuesday a lawsuit filed against the president, accusing him of not taking action to bring to justice those responsible for deaths that occurred in 2011 by the cabinet building.  

Relatives of three victims who were killed in what was dubbed later as "cabinet clashes" pressed charges against the president for not holding the military council, which ruled Egypt then, accountable for the deaths.

Fathers of victims, Alaa Abdel Hadi and Rami Sharkawi, and the wife of Emad Effat had denounced President Mohamed Mursi's lack of effort to question the military council over the violence.

Hundreds of protesters had held a sit-in by the cabinet building demanding the dismissal of the Kamal Ganzouri government, the forming of a civil presidential council and retribution for the victims of earlier clashes.

Nineteen people were killed and at least 900 were injured when clashes between the protesters and military police forces broke out.
