Demonstrators in Mahalla set up two tents to stage a sit-in until June 30. They chanted slogans calling for toppling the regime.

In Tanta, hundreds joined a march to demand ousting both President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Political powers organised several marches in Minya, Samallout and Maghagha to call for toppling the president and the Brotherhood and to demand holding early presidential elections.

In Minya, several groups roamed the streets while holding red cards to call for rallying on June 30.

On the other hand, an unidentified flyer was distributed among the people in Minya warning them against demonstrating on June 30.

Several political parties and powers participated in protests against Mursi and the Brotherhood and urge people to take to the street on June 30.
