Cairo, Nov 29 (Aswat Masriya) - Police and army forces intensified their presence at the Ittihadeya and Qubba presidential palaces in Cairo on Friday morning in anticipation of demonstrations which the Muslim Brotherhood has called for.

The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy had called for a million-man demonstration entitled "Justice is coming" on Friday to mark 100 days on the Abu Zaabal Prison incident in which 37 pro-Brotherhood prisoners were killed.

The coalition backs the Muslim Brotherhood and former President Mohamed Mursi.

Four military vehicles were deployed at Merghani Street near Orouba Tunnel and two others at gate four of the palace, the Middle East News Agency said.

Two formations of central security forces and three police vehicles deployed behind Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz Mosque located in front of the palace.

Police forces intensified security around the Qubba Palace parameters and placed barbed wires at its main gate.

The Interior Ministry has warned the Brotherhood supporters against organising demonstrations or rallies without prior notice to the concerned security bodies.

The ministry said it will firmly deal with such illegal events and will address them with appropriate decisiveness.

A protest law that was approved last Sunday obligates demonstrations’ organisers to notify the authorities at least three days prior to the planned demonstration and to determine its purpose as well as the slogans to be chanted.
