CAIRO, April 1 (Aswat Masriya) Cairo University urged all its faculties on Tuesday to refrain from direct or indirect campaigning for presidential candidates on campus. 

The university's board issued a list of regulations for faculty members and students to follow, the state news agency said.

Egypt's Presidential Elections Commission said in a press conference on Sunday that campaigns shall kick off on May 3. 

Egypt should have a new president by June 26.
