CAIRO, April 27 (Aswat Masriya) A Cairo criminal court adjourned on Sunday the trial of ousted President Hosni Mubarak and others to April 29.

Mubarak, his sons and interior minister Habib al-Adly, and six of his aides, are accused of complicity in the killing of peaceful protesters during the January 25 uprising of 2011.

The court is expected to hear the Defence of former Security Chief Adli Mostafa Abdelrahman on Tuesday.

Mubarak fell tired with low blood pressure during his trial and the court ordered that he be moved from the cage to receive the required treatment, an Aswat Masriya witness said.

During Sunday's hearing, the lawyer of former Central Security Forces Chief Ahmed Ramzy said that "the prosecution has not presented any written evidence that Adly or Ramzy have ordered shooting at the protesters."  

"To the contrary, the official instructions by Adly and his aides were to abide by self-control and that in case of escalation only teargas would be used to disperse protesters along with shields and sticks," the lawyer said.
