CAIRO, Jan 8 (Aswat Masriya) - Clashes erupted between security forces and supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo's Nasr City on Wednesday, said the state news agency MENA.

Confrontations started when "Members of the Brotherhood torched a central security forces vehicle and advertisement billboards," according to MENA.

Dozens of supporters of the Brotherhood rallied to back deposed President Mohamed Mursi, who is standing trial today over charges of inciting the killing of protesters during his rule.

Security forces fired teargas to disperse protesters.
