ASWAN, April 5 (Aswat Masriya) Eighteen people were killed and tens were wounded in Friday's violent confrontations in Aswan, said Mohamed Sorour of the health ministry. 

Sorour told Aswat Masriya that more bodies are expected to arrive to the morgue later. 

Violent clashes between al-Halayel and al-Dabodeya tribes erupted late on Friday following tension between the tribes' students.
