SUEZ, Sept 11 (Aswat Masriya) - At least three "extremists" were killed and six were arrested on Thursday following clashes with Egypt's third army on Ain Sokhna's Kattameya road, a military source told Aswat Masriya.

The source added that the "Takfiris have been monitored as they came through Sinai and tried to sneak to Suez and Cairo to assault security forces."

The Egyptian security forces have launched an intensive security campaign to capture extremist gunmen who took up attacking the police and army since the ouster of Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi last year.
