Six "extremists" killed in air strike in Sinai

The Egyptian Army Spokesman Ahmed Mohamed Aly said that the armed forces arrested eleven terrorists in North Sinai on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
SINAI, May 20 (Aswat Masriya) Six "extremists" were killed in an air strike in North Sinai on Tuesday, security sources told Aswat Masriya.
"The army targeted a hiding place of Jihadists with missiles, which left six of them killed and 14 injured," the sources added.
The armed forces have launched a security campaign across Egypt to counter militant attacks that have risen sharply since the ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi last year.
