CAIRO, Sept 19 (Aswat Masriya) - At least 15 prisoners escaped from a police station in Gharbia, 90 km north of Cairo, on Friday morning, a security source told Aswat Masriya.
"The prisoners managed to escape when the guards opened their cell to take out the waste. One of the inmates threw hot water on the faces of the guards and fled amid the general state of agitation," another security source said.
The security forces are currently combing the area in search for the fugitives.
