CAIRO, Sept 17 (Aswat Masriya) - An Egyptian was killed in Libya and his body was found south west of the capital Tripoli, reported the state-owned news agency MENA.

"Civilians found the body an Egyptian national from Mansoura who was likely killed by a sharp object," MENA quoted an unnamed Libyan security source.

Several Egyptians had been killed and kidnapped during the unrest in Libya. Most of the Egyptian nationals working there have been evacuated from the conflict-torn country.

Flights to and from Tripoli stopped on July 13, following the worst wave of violence in Libya since the overthrow of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
