Two sentenced for hiding Brotherhood leader Beltagy

GIZA, March 30 (Aswat Masriya) An Egyptian court sentenced former Manpower Minister Khaled al-Azhary and former Member of Parliament Gamal al-Ashry to two years in prison on Sunday for hiding Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed al-Beltagy.
The Giza court decided after it was proven that the defendants were aware that the authorities were looking for Beltagy but hid him from justice, a judicial source told Aswat Masriya.
Ibrahim Farahat, whose house was used to hide Beltagy, was acquitted.
Beltagy, who was arrested in August following the overthrow of Mohamed Mursi, is standing trial over accusations that he incited the killing of protesters.
