A security source said on Monday that some of the perpetrators behind Sunday's killing of four Shi'ites have been identified.

A mob of Salafis (ultraconservative Sunnis) raided a house where a gathering of Shi’ites was taking place late on Sunday and attacked it with rocks and Molotov cocktails, killing four and injuring others.

According to the state news agency, Giza’s Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating the case and the suspects.

The source denied that a curfew has been imposed on the Abu Musallem Village where the incident took place.
