CAIRO, Feb 23 (Aswat Masriya) Egypt’s transport workers continued their strike on Sunday for better pay conditions, demanding the enforcement of the minimum wage policy.

Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi had announced that the cabinet has decided on a minimum wage of 1,200 Egyptian pounds per month for civil servants.

Transport workers have organized several strikes throughout the past few years, including one in Tahrir in 2011 following the popular uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.
