Egypt's revolutionary forces announced on Wednesday that they are going to stage peaceful marches to the presidential palace on Friday.

In a statement issued by the Popular Current, they explained that the protest marches are to emphasize on the people's legitimate demands.

"The demands of the people are not met through the policies of President Mohamed Mursi, or the Muslim Brotherhood group that Mursi belongs to," said the statement.

Although the statement did not specify which political forces will participate in these marches, it announced that a press conference will be held on Thursday to announce a stance and the routes of these marches.

The statement called on the masses to participate in the marches.
