Egypt destroys 34 border tunnels with Gaza

The Egyptian Border Police has located and destroyed 34 tunnels under the border with Gaza, security sources said on Tuesday.
The border forces have also thwarted eight attempts to smuggle arms into Egyptian land, said a statement by the official spokesman for the army.
The army has also halted 304 people attempting to enter the country illegally, in addition to 34 cases of smuggling untaxed goods worth more than 14 million Egyptian pounds.
