CAIRO, July 7 (Aswat Masriya) Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will address the nation on Monday to mark the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan war, also known as the October 6 War, Egypt's state television said.

The speech comes days after the government raised the prices of electricity and fuel in an attempt to reduce an economic burden caused by political turmoil.

Egypt and Syria went to war with Israel on October 6, 1973, which was the 10th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
