Maspero building in Cairo (Egyptian Radio and Television Union headquarters)
Police and army forces were deployed near Egypt's state television building (Maspero) on Friday after violent confrontations erupted between opponents and supporters of former President Mohamed Mursi.
A medical source said that two people were killed and 55 were injured in the clashes, Al-Jazeera reported.
Protesters clashed with State Security forces near the state television building (Maspero) on Friday where forces used teargas to disperse the protesters who responded by hurling stones.
Army forces have been deployed to the Nile Corniche leading to the area.
