CAIRO, Dec 17 (Aswat Masriya) A Central Security officer was killed on Tuesday in a security operation to capture “terrorists” in Ismaliya, a source from the interior ministry said.

The source told the state news agency that Ahmed Wahid Abdel Rahim was among the Central Security forces working on the operation when he was killed in an exchange of fire with “terrorists”.

A bomb went off near a security checkpoint on the Ismaliya-Cairo on Thursday killing one conscript and injuring 13 others.
