Cairo, Dec 6 (Aswat Masriya) - Security forces intensified their presence at Cairo's Ittihadeya presidential palace on Friday morning in anticipation of protests which the National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy called for.

The coalition, which supports ousted President Mohamed Mursi, has called for demonstrating on Friday to commend women's persistence in the face of the "coup".

Four military vehicles were deployed on Merghani Street, the Middle East News Agency's correspondent reported.

Several police vehicles and formations of security forces were stationed next to Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz in front of gate four of the palace.
