CAIRO, Jan 24 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that January 25 was a "revolution for change", and the June 30 "revolution" amended this change, in a pre-recorded address aired on state television on Saturday.

The president saluted all Egyptian "martyrs" who fell since January 25, 2011.

Sisi also offered his condolences over the death of Saudi King Abdullah, who passed away early Friday at the age of 90.

"Humanity lost ... a great man, and the Arabs and Muslims lost the man of wisdom and noble stances," Sisi said. "I wish King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, with all the love and appreciation, success," he said.

Sisi arrived in Riyadh earlier on Saturday to pay his respects after the death of King Abdullah, Egypt's state television reported.

Sisi headed a delegation of state officials including the Grand of Sheikh of al-Azhar, minister of endowments, minister of foreign affairs and minister of interior.

His visit to Saudi Arabia to pariticipate in the funeral procession of late King Abdullah on Friday was delayed due to "bad" weather conditions, according to the state tv.

The statement comes ahead of the fourth anniversary of the January 25 uprising, which coincides with Police Day.
