Airport security stopped former Planning Minister Amr Darrag from traveling to the Qatar capital Doha on Monday, saying he is on a travel-ban list pending investigations in accordance with a general prosecutor's order. 

Darag served in the government of former Prime Minister Hisham Kandil under deposed President Mohamed Mursi’s administration. 

Since Mursi’s ouster in July, many Brotherhood leaders have been arrested and detained. 

Mursi is now standing trial on charges of inciting violence during his rule.
