Representation of women in the parliament is still low because due to the electoral system, Head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Mohamed Morsi said.

The Freedom and Justice Party has the biggest percentage of woman representation in the People’s Assembly. “Out of 10 women members of parliament, four belong to the party,” Morsi said in a party’s statement.

The Brotherhood formed the Freedom and Justice Party for all Egyptians to participate in political work and compete for power, Morsi stated.
