Egypt's Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zaazou, has signed with his counterpart in Iraq's Kurdistan an agreement to enhance tourism cooperation.

A senior Egyptian delegation chaired by the tourism minister returned from a trip to Baghdad earlier this week after talks about cooperation, reported the Middle East News Agency.

In the first official Egyptian visit to Kurdistan, Zaazou invited his counterpart to visit Egypt to discuss the matter further.

Egypt discussed several conventions that aim at canceling the entry-visa and increasing flight connections between Iraq and Egypt in order to boost tourism.
