Egypt court slams activist with 1-year prison sentence

An Alexandria appeals court on Saturday sentenced political activist Hassan Mostafa to one year in prison for assaulting a member of the judiciary and inciting violence.
The 30-year-old activist was arrested in January on charges of physically attacking a prosecutor.
Mostafa was sentenced to two years of imprisonment by virtue of an earlier verdict before the appeal.
