An army spokesman said that investigations are ongoing to determine the reason behind two blasts in al-Agra area south of Rafah near the Egyptian-Israeli borders.

The blasts injured a number of people who might be Jihadists, eyewitnesses in North Sinai said on Friday.

An Israeli aircraft was flying over the area before the blast, the eyewitnesses added.

The aircraft was monitoring a missiles platform set up by jihadists to fire missiles on Israeli targets near the borders, security sources said.
