CAIRO, Sept 16 (Aswat Masriya) - The Egyptian prosecution issued on Wednesday a publication ban on the investigation being held regarding the accidental killing of Mexican tourists.

The ban includes all media outlets and only allows for official statements issued from the prosecution office to be published.

The Egyptian security forces bombed a tourist convey mistakenly for entering a 'restricted area' in the western desert on Sunday, according to the Interior Ministry.

12 were killed, including seven Mexican tourists and five Egyptians, while 10 were wounded.
