ASSUIT, Oct 16 (Aswat Masriya) - An Egyptian court sentenced 24 defendants to life in prison in relation to violence that erupted in Upper Egypt's Assuit following the dispersal of two pro-Brotherhood protest camps in August 2013.
The court dropped the life sentence of two other defendants who died during the trial period.
