Cairo, Dec 13 (Aswat Masriya) - One protester was killed and 10 others were injured in Suez when supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi clashed with the police on Friday afternoon, a medical source said.

The deceased, a man named Khaled Saleh, was shot in the neck, said Reda Zaghloul, head of Suez's emergency unit.

One of the 10 injured people is a 10-year-old boy who was shot in the neck, Zaghloul added.

Police forces dispersed the pro-Brotherhood crowds that gathered today in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez, Fayoum, Minya, Qena and Matrouh, an Interior Ministry statement said.

Police arrested 54 rioters with 10 petrol bombs in their possession, the statement added.
