CAIRO, April 19 (Aswat Masriya) An Egyptian court sentenced Mohamed al-Beltagy, a senior member in the Muslim Brotherhood, to one year in prison, with labor, on Saturday for insulting a prosecutor during a recent hearing.

Beltagy had accused the representative of Egypt's public prosecutor of conspiring and of being biased, an eyewitness said.

Beltagy and 13 other Muslim Brotherhood leaders, including ousted President Mohamed Mursi, are standing trial for murder and spying among other crimes.
